Q: What are the types of injuries covered by compensation ?

A: You may be entitled to compensation for a physical injury,  psychological injury or an injury as a result of the negligence or wrong doing of another person, company, government agency, or other entity.

Physical injuries may include head and neck injuries, back injuries, burns, industrial diseases, loss of limbs, fingers or toes, loss of hearing or loss of sight.

Psychological injuries may include depression and anxiety as a result of your injury.

Q:  How long does the compensation process take?

A: The claims process does take time, however, once your specialist lawyer has assessed your claim, generally, most claims are settled within 12-18 months.

Q: What costs are involved?

A: Firstly, AICS is a FREE service.

Secondly, our team of Lawyers will not charge if they do not win - NO WIN - NO FEE. You will not be charged for up front or on-going costs  if AICS and our team of lawyers do not win your case.

Once your case has been accepted, all fees will be clearly explained to you before you proceed.

Q:  How do I know if I qualify for a compensation claim?

A: You may be eligible if you have suffered an injury - physical or psychological - which was caused by someone who should have been taking reasonable steps to prevent the risk of your injury and care for your safety but failed to do so - for example your employer or another driver, slips and trips in a public place.  Even if no fault occurred by anyone you may still have a claim.
